The project “Sound-Squad” is the return of mobile music culture. The crew started out with no less of a goal than to give back music it’s lost freedom.

Music is a journey. Music connects people and demolishes borders. Music is hope and freedom. Music is a part of our life and exactly for that reason it belongs everywhere we live. It’s time to think about why we force orselves into crowded cellers when all around the world people are dancing in the street.

Our answer is called Sound Squad

The unique thing about Sound Squad ist not only the fact that the whole DJ Crew is on board, but also the fact that we have intergrated the complete technology as well as a stage into our truck.
Having done this, we can change a desolate parking-lot in just half an hour into a raving dancefloor with capacity for 400 people.
Our truck offers different set-up possibilities. We can play as a soundsystem in a small set-up but we have also had the pleasure of presenting whole bands on our truck-stage.

Music connects

Our project has found a lot of enthusiam especially in musician-communities. The idea of just driving off and playing music is obviously a dream that has not only inspired the Sound Squad. On our journey we have meet a bunch of people that share our enthusiasm. This pleasure that we encounter is our motivation.

Although we are mobil we present music on a high technical leval. The cooperation of experienced Technicians allows us to guarentee for flawless shows.
Because of our cooperation with musicians from Germany, France, Italy and Spain it is possible for us to put together considerable line-ups in no time at all.

What is possible?

You offer us the idea or the concept und we will do everything to make it happen. Be it an extra stage for a festival, spontaneous appearances for bands, promotion tours, normal soundsystem shows or whatever…

In a nutshell: Everything is possible, the own ideas are the only borders…

We look forward to every oportunity and challenge that allows us to see more of the world! That is the vibe of Sound Squad, that the spirit that keeps us together.

DA CREW

Marcello:

Marcello became prominent in southern Germany known as Patchanka and Mestizo DJ and through his Project “Villa Zapata”. He belongs to the most experinced DJ’s in this line of music, which he has proved through countless shows with a variety bands. These are not just any sort of bands, but bands like Panteon Rococo, La Ruda Salska, Obrint Pas, Spasulatti Band, Golem System and Karaleo Santo.

Melen Cholai:

Melen is our talented newcomer DJane. Along with her dynamic solo appearances she can also boast shows with Irie Révoltés, Sista Zoum(FR) and Roots Intention Crew(FR).
Melen presents her own personal style of Reggae, Ragga and Dancehall. It’s a mix of empathy and vibe that no one can imitate.

Trigger:

Trigger is a man of concepts. He always manages to create enough space for himself and the musicians to allow for the creative flow to be kept alive. Trigger unites technological competence with creative logic. Usually in the background, his strength lies with the coordination. From start to finish

Max:

Max is the light/ and all round technician of the crew. He learnt his trade in the theater and now works as the substitute technical manager of the Halle_02.
Max arranges the lightshows and is the conatct person for technical questions.
